Have not seen midway play too many games this year, the ones I have seen were not very impressive. Seems they have caught a hot streak. Anyways, anyone seen Texas High play? what are yalls thoughts?

Saw T-High play in the Jesuit tournament. They can flat out swing it. Did not see any overpowering pitching but guys that could throw strikes.
Midway has the deeper pitching staff and right now they are swinging the hotter bats. I think Texarkana will have a hard time scoring runs against Midway's pitchers. The one thing you can't do is defense momentum and Midway is hot at the right time. Having said that I don't think Texarkana has lost a game since that Jesuit tournament. Give me Midway in 3.
We saw Midway early, Kennedy and Kent were tough outs. The middle of their lineup accounted for 7 of 10 K's and seven GB outs. We threw a small body SR RHP with late movement, at 84-86 mph. He has a wicked 12-6 hammer and good CH.
They threw LHPs Anderson and Kent at us. Not much offense, but it was March.

I heard Texas highs ace is hurt and may not be pitching this series. Any truth to this ?
I've seen them both play this year texas High can swing it but seemed like a fastball hitting team so the midway guys will win that match up and midway is off and on with their bats. I'll say Midway wins in three but will have to play small ball to pull it off.
I told yall that Midway would give T High's hitters fits and thats what happened. Congrats to them and hope they keep moving on.
