I was just wondering if anyone has ever been to this tournament? It's held at Grand Park in Westfield , IL . My son is there this weekend and he said there are quite a few schools there. I know he has some pretty good pitchers on his team . Just wondering if this tournament is usually well attended by schools or if they are there to see specific pitchers on his team. He is not a pitcher but he got some eyes on him. Always benefits to being around quality arms.

We have been to several tournaments there and have seen several scouts bouncing around the games. We were actually there 2 weeks ago and one of our kids (2017) that had no offers, pitched well and he is now going on a visit this week to a school that liked him.
Has anyone else gone to this particular tournament? My son's new team he just joined is going there this summer (might be only, one of only, teams from east coast there).
My son's 17U team particpated this past summer. There were colleges of all levels (d1,2,3,juco) at virtually every game I attended - Mostly Midwest schools, though there were some outliers.
In the Midwest, it's the best exposure there is. They don't run it as a tournament, and it's essentially invitation only. It's just scheduled games...normally 4 or 5 over a weekend...no bracket or championship.....so teams know how many games they are playing...and pitiching/position rotations can be set in advance so that coaches/scouts will know when they can see a kid. We saw more coaches at the MPL events than we saw anywhere other than WWBA
Thanks for your replies!
Actually Grand Park is in Westfield, IN not IL... Just setting the record straight!
We've played at Grand Park 25 times. Best park of it's kind I've ever seen. My kids are 13 and 15
They held the Great Lakes (?) Little League Regionals there last year. Were setting up while the real players were doing the PBR futures games : ) . What is the Prospect League?
Link below probably best describes what the Midwest Prospect League is:

The Grand Park weekend is one of the MPL events....I think when my son played they did it 5 weekends. Once at Grand Park, once in Columbus Area, one in Akron/Kent/Canton, one in Lexington and one in Cincy. Typically 8-10 teams per weekend
