For anyone interested in a hitting camp, this one will be the most bang for your buck!!! You can still register through this week.

Mike Epstein is one of America's top hitting analysts, instructors, speakers, and published writers. His uncanny ability to simplify the complexities of the baseball swing has thrust him to the forefront of America's hitting coaches. The Collegiate Baseball News calls Mike "baseball's hitting guru."

After mentoring for a ten year period under baseball’s greatest batsman, Ted Williams, Mike Epstein continued his career in baseball as a minor league manager and hitting coordinator, which has led to his current career as one of baseball’s leading independent hitting instructors and consultants for baseball and softball.

Williams issued the ultimate compliment by saying, “I believe Mike Epstein comprehends and teaches the science of proper hitting (“hips leading hands”) as skillfully as anyone I have run across in all my years in baseball. He can help any hitter."

If you have always been taught to:

swing down for backspin
keep your back elbow up
don't dip your shoulders
squish the bug
keep the barrell above your hands
throw your hands at the ball
keep your front elbow down

Come find out why 95% of every hitter in the Major Leagues and in the Hall of Fame are doing/did something completely different.

I agree with Bruce. I have heard Mr. Epstein on several occasions, he is good. I have a copy of Ted Williams book, "The Science of Hitting," in my office for my players to read. We do alot of the things that both Williams and Epstein talk about. It has been hard to break old habits, but they are working at it because they see what it will take to hit at the next level. I have pictures all over our 2 baseball locker rooms of the things that Williams and Epstein teach to serve as visual reminders.

I have told my players about this clinic and know that several should be attending.
Amen DBG... Epstein is the real deal... his personal clients, outside of helping Major League teams with certain players, are guys such as.. Garko, Giles brothers, Chipper Jones, E. Chavez, Wiggenton, Mauer.... has helped get colleges on board with teaching proper mechanics opposed to the old linear stuff... such as south carolina, stanford, usc, cal st. fullerton, fla st., az. softball, lsu softball, la. tech softball, and they are now teaching these mechanics at ut softball...

bottom line: good stuff...
