Justin Pope was an excellent college pitcher who was a very high Mets pick about 7 or 8 years ago.

Thanks for the info PG. Corection, what I meant to say in my previous post is my son's teamate's brother is the Joe I was inquiring about in the Phillies organization. "Mike" his younger brother is the freshman first baseman on my sons team. (Wayne State Neb.) which is only a couple of hours west of where you call home.
