They are a part of the CCIW very good baseball confrence were good a couple of years ago don't know about now, Division 3, can not give scholarships, have about 40 guys on a roster, playing time is probably hard to come by, and they have JV.
CCIW is probably still the strongest D3 conference in the state -- Elmhurst, Carthage, and IWU should all spend time in the regional and national rankings this year.
Let's not forget about Augustana. Great school with a nice new baseball facility.
My oldest son went to Millikin. We were very pleased with it. He was wanting to go to a small school, and after visiting several, it was the best fit. I think we can say this was a win/win. Millikin did well by him and he will do well by Millikin.
They are continually upgrading physical facilities. Stong faculty. Nice campus. Biggest drawback is Decatur itself. It has improved, but there are areas around the edges of campus where one has to be really careful. And you can't get away from the smell of Staley's in the air.
