Issued by all professional clubs, even the independent leagues.
Nice souvenir. Mom and dad buy about 20 sets.

We have seen lots of fans who buy the set for the local minor league team and try to get every card signed by the players ... some will have gold mine cards with the prospects out there, heh?
When a player's stock is up (e.g., he is doing well or he is a 'prospect'), their cards on e-Bay can get pretty good money. The ones sold on e-Bay are generally special cards and not necessarily the card from a team set. Our son has had several that have pictures obviously taken during spring training because he was wearing a Dbacks jersey. As a gift to his dad, I created a 'shadow' box collection of AJ's cards, having purchased a few on e-Bay myself.
