Well, guess I gotta ask then...

Say F4 does indeed ask during live ball with no tag of runner nor base?

I will assume Blue would rule "safe".

And I will reluctantly assume that, "no second attempt" on the appeal would be upheld?

Seems a bit odd that a verbal would be accepted only at "dead ball intervall".

So, if the ball goes to F1, still live, coach say's "appeal". The pitcher must request and be granted Time, before the verbal appeal will be allowed?

I don't like this one, you Fed guys need to get this changed right away ;')........
