My son's coach took him off to the side after yesterday's game and gave him this form to fill out. It seems that in the game on Monday where there were several MLB scouts in attendance looking at a pitcher from the other team, that one of the scouts talked to my sons coach after the game about him.

The coach told my son that the scout liked his catching and would be keeping an eye on him in the future. My son is only a sophmore so there is a lot of work to be done.

After reasearching the Bureau on this website I gthered this is a good thing. (Doing the happy dad dance!!)

The coach asked for the form to be filled out and given back to him. Even though it had an address on the form.

Is this normal? Can you check up on the status of the form?

Thanks for all imput

Yes this is normal for you to give the form back to the coach. What do you mean by checking the status of the form? Do you mean checking to see if it was actually returned to the MLB Scouting Bureau? Did the coach receive a business card from the Bureau Scout?

In college, some of us received these forms after scout day, however we were to return the forms to our coach, but we were personally given a business card from the Bureau Scout.
