Personally I don't have a problem with Dibble posting this. I have no patience for people who waste an opportunity thousands of others would give anything to have. People that work their butts off and stay clean chasing their dream only to be passed over by a head case like this.

This is the fourth time the guy has failed a test according to Baseball America. In my mind that means he hasn't decided that enough is enough yet. Until he gets to that point there isn't anything anybody can say or do to help this guy. And being "nice" certainly doesn't do him any good.

That's just my opinion.

I'm not implying anything about Josh's work ethic. He's obviously got some drug issues that he refuses to deal with. It just pisses me off to see a guy with a tremendous opportunity that so many others would love to have just throw it away.

I've witnessed stories like this first hand. It's a bad situation and I'd like to see the guy get his life together. But that isn't going to happen until he decides to get it together.

Baseball should be the least of his worries right now.

This is why I have a problem with the big signing bonuses, straight out of HS. The kid hasn't played a lick of ball in well over a year, and he still has his money. In all likelyhood he will not return for at least a few years if at all. But he will still have enough money to feed the habit.

GO NIMRODS!!!
