How serious should we take mailed MLB workout invite letters for a rising Junior in HS? Guessing mass mailed but want to make sure that's the case. I would hate to miss a good chance to showcase himself.

My son received a couple of these during the summer before his senior year. They were well attended by area and outside the area college scouts and in both cases their main goal was for scout teams for the PG - WWBA championships in Jupiter. One of them led to an invite.
My suggestion is to have your son question the scout where the invite came form to get more information on whether it is a worthwhile event to attend.
