I got outside for the first time since November yesterday, about to again today. Breakin' in the new glove. Feels good coming back from much needed rest. I hate being cautious with the wing, but it's the way to go. I hope everyone young and old has an injury free season! (That goes from arms to sore throats from the parents)

FO,

I've been a bum all day (actually for several days). Mother-in-law has been in town from El Paso and I've been eating too good. I am so far behind on my umpire stuff it isn't even funny, and we start meeting Wednesday.

He said he was going over to throw with Matt. They've both come a long way since Mouzon Park, huh? I don't mind playing catch for a little bit, but I'm too use to catching 11 & 12 year olds now. I may be dumb but I ain't stupid.

Haven't made the time to talk to Matt. How's his knee doing? All cleared up? Hope everyone is doing well. Mom & Pop? Brothers and sis?
I'm trying to get my son out and get in shape. He spent the last part of fall ball rehabbing a back injury. He finally got over that, played a few games, then re-injured it during off-season. Now, wisdom teeth taken out 3 days ago. Hopefully, we will be hitting in the Thunderdome in a few days. Throwing/fly balls and grounders next week if all goes well. Can't wait.
OP,

Sounds good, but I'm trying to cut back so that I can fit in my umpire clothes without having to buy new ones. That stuff gets expensive. Plus I'm trying to catch up on other umpire stuff.

Wife is watching TV, the boys are upstairs, Mike is over at friend's house, and I'm on the computer. WOOHOO!!!! What a way to celebrate.

Keep those chocolate shakes away from Mike. Tell 'em I said hello.
11:15?!!! Dang! You were up late! By the way, did my invite to the party get lost in the mail? You guys should have been over here yesterday. Wife got me very LARGE HDTV w/ DLP for Christmas and man was I a bum!!!!!!! Football never looked so good! It will look really good when them Tigers from LSU romp on the Irish. Geaux Tigers!!!!!
Sometimes I get a free moment or two and then I'm horizontal on the couch for all of 2 seconds before I get pounded on by two 4 year old girls and my 13 month old boy.

Big Al and Momma Shirley are doing good. They drove to Florida the week before Christmas and all went well until they had two flats just outside of Vicksburg, MS. A good samaritan (sp) stopped and helped them out. Still getting treatments and check ups but they are so strong for each other. And Big Al can still whoop my butt at golf.
