I don't want to get this started again but DBAT GM 18 PMed me the answer I was looking for all along and I am cool with everything. I don't have to like it but I accept it. I want to personally thank him for that.

Anyone know how the Dallas Yankees are doing? The Chamber of Commerce in Gun Barrell City are wanting to organize a parade.

They were in a hot battle with the Ft. Worth Drillers when I left.

Not a problem at all, never thought twice about it. It was good to see these guys play. They will be tough to beat in my opinion.

Tanner Moore was a nice pickup. He threw well today for a couple of innings!

Ringer1 son told me on the phone last night the Drillers gave up 8 runs in the first inning. Said the Raiders came out swinging the bat. Hard to come back from a deficit like that but they made a valiant effort. They play at 10am this morning.

The Houston Raiders teams I have seen over the past several years have always hit the ball well. And they do tend to get the big inning.

I believe that was their 15yo team also. Ringer1 son said they were a very salty group of kids. We play the 16's today. Hopefully with a better outcome.

Well...it's over. Drillers lose to the SA Hackers 6-5. Ringer1 son pretty upset right now but I think that disappointment will quickly disappear when he wakes up in the morning and figures out he doesn't have any ballgames next week. I think we all need a break when we get to this point in the season. He (and I) wish they were still playing though.

Thanks to everyone out there who adopted the Drillers and rooted for them from here. I told my son about it. He seemed to enjoy that.

I would've loved nothing more than a Dallas team to go down there and win the tournament. They fought hard and had a good showing.

The Drillers are a 2nd year organization. I would look for them to be in the upper tier soon. JMO.

The Dallas Mustangs (Sharp) must double dip the McKinney Marshals Sunday to move on the the next round.

Looks as if though we have more than 1 State Champion....Explain that one more time again for all us Public School Employees. Nevermind ~ I remembered ~ Now it's on to Regionals...Right?
