Congratulations to Ruston Harris -- an '09 from Grandview High School. Ruston was named the District 11-2A Offensive Player of the Year, with a .600 average. He hit safely in all 30 games! and will try to impress at the upcoming Area Code tryouts.

Most have been chosen -- most of the lists will not become public until all teams in that district are eliminated from the playoffs. Or until your team has its baseall banquet. But -- I am not posting proprietary information here.

Then I guess I missed something..... I thought Coppell (Watten and Malone) was still in the playoffs.

Don spilled the beans at our banquet the other night. It was a little odd--???!! But, it was while he was introducing the seniors. He is such a good guy.

Many coaches share the information at their year-end banquets -- after all, it is the most convenient way/time for the kids to be recognized. The practice of holding the lists is intended to reduce the number of distractions during the playoffs....but, MLB doesn't wait to hold their draft.

Since I love to dig deep....I have found that DTiger is ranked in the top 7.2% of his class, with a GPA of 95+. Is anyone surprised? Great job, DTiger!

While I was digging, I uncovered the fact that Taylor Ryan is also an Honor Roll student at Jesuit. Congratulations TR.
