Be sure to tell your Mom that you love her.

I lost my mother when I was just a child.
And I never had the chance to say Happy Mother's day that I remember.

So if you get a chance, Hug your Mom for me will ya??

I alway's thought I gained my Survivability in life from my Father.
I just realized after 40 years.
That it came from my Mom?
She's the one that didn't take No for an answer.
She was the one with the PitBull mentality.
She's the one that would tear you a new *******.
All 5' 100#'s of her.
Ya, it was her.

Happy Mother's Day Mom.

I'm going to add to your great thoughts EH, to hug those that aren't moms yet but that would love to be so. Even on my absolute worse day, I am so very thankful and remember that I'm fortunate to be a mom. One of my closest friends grieves terribly today because she hasn't had that opportunity in her life. It is truly a blessing to be a mom that I will never take for granted. Smile
theEH-- cry You make me feel so badly---just spent the day with mine---and discovered that she is doing some very irrational things...she is getting old(er) and becoming very frail...I am faced with acknowleging that she is also becoming senile......With the knowledge that she won't be around forever....

lafmom---I suffered with infertility for years. I remember dreading and hating this day....waking up with such a pit in my heart....I, too, believe "It is truly a blessing to be a mom that I will never take for granted."

Happy Mothers Day to all who are mothers, who know mothers, who have a mother, who have a motherly role with others, and special thoughts to those who want desperately to be mothers.
SS Mom and EH;

Please enjoy this day. Today, I invited to my home Margret, Vicki [daughter & a mother in July], Robin, my son's girlfriend for a mothers day dinner.

With the years declining it is important to value the people who are valuable to the success of baseball players and promoters.

Many years ago, I considered the extra year of playing baseball in Canada or going to work in SF.

My mother said "you can always work, but you can not always play baseball".

I played one more year. One year later, I owned a General Tire business and Willie Mays helped me to be a promoter.
