It was good day in Rowlett
I think every baseball program needs to throw an event like this. Every person at this event left with a good feeling in their heart. It is a win-win for everyone.

What a great story.. Hats off to the Rowlett baseball program. Pure class on the field and off. 
This is a great event. You realize there are things more important in life, than just baseball. I was proud of the boys and the baseball program for being part of this.

It is so good to see the younger gerneration set such an inspirational example to the community. This is an A1 organization with an exceptional leadership of integrity. Job well done.

For those looking to get involved, another organization similar to Angel League is Miracle League of Frisco. They have both baseball and s****r leagues in both spring and fall and it is very rewarding to be a part of it. CS son and I have enjoyed volunteering as buddies for the athletes. They have a special turf baseball field that is flat so that it is wheelchair friendly. (click on the link and you can see the field). Here is a link to the Miracle League of Frisco website. On one of the mornings last fall, the Hebron Hawks baseball team was volunteering. It is great when teams get together and "give back" to the community.

Back when I was coaching our teams would go out and support the Angel League as a community service project. I found out about it through one of our players who was good friends with an Angel League player. It was always a great experience.
