Daniel really likes New England ...even the cold weather. He hurt his shoulder while plowing into a catcher last week (the run scored), but is doing better and should be back in action soon. Yesterday he went to Mystic on the coast (their one day off this month) and had a great time. Saw an exhibit on Sea Dogs, toured an Aquarium, and enjoyed the harbor full of old ships. There are several huge resort casinos in the area where he and his buddies love to eat on weekends …and play a little, too.
The people in Norwich have been wonderful and I think he’s getting used to the accent …says they all sound like my side of the family. I was raised in Chicago.
Even though he’s far from home, our Texas boy is thriving in the Northeast.
