When someone writes that a program isn't "fully funded," it means that the program is unable to offer the full number of scholarships allowed by the NCAA (11.7 in Division I, 9 in Division II). Programs that aren't fully funded face an uphill struggle since it means that they have less in the way of athletic scholarship money to spread among the players and less money to offer recruits than their fully funded counterparts.
My 2013 plans to attend the Nov. camp because the coaches stayed in contact with him after they left Louisburg. He figures if they remained interested once they left the JUCO he may have what they are looking for. Could "justbaseball" elaborate on the comment about a different culture, we have yet to visit the campus and not sure I follow the intent of your comment. Thanx

Look up Morehead KY in any map program. Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against that part of KY, but once you go east of Lexington about 50 miles, you're kind of getting into the "sticks"....if you know what I mean. Yes, Morehead is right off of I-64...but look around it....not much of anything for miles in any direction...and the town has less than 7,000 population. Sure, you've got kids from all areas coming in to school, but it's still in the middle of very rural KY. I would think that's what he meant by "different culture". I would imagine someone from a big city in NC may not feel that that location is the best fit for him.
Morehead is a pretty large school. They are a city on to themselves. The enrollment is?/ 20,000 +. That is a lot of kids.

However, the bottom line is: You want to play baseball and stay eligible? Then it really doesn't matter where the school is. Baseball is a 5 hr a day commitment in the off season. regular season even more. A ball players social life is spending time time w/ his teammates. Oh, don't forget to bust your ... doing what you are in college to do, study.
