"Some people dream of great things. Others wake up and do them!"

Also for those pitchers who get upset over missed calls by umpires, errors by their fielders, and lucky bounces:

"Ain't no sense worrying about things you got no control over, cause if you got no control over them, ain't no sense worrying. And, ain't no sense worrying about things you got control over, cause if you got control over them, ain't no sense worrying."

In other words, focus on throwing the best pitch you can and quit wasting energy on something you cannot change!

I put up slogans all over our field for numerous reasons. Over the years, I've used many, including:

"Whatever it takes"
"All for one, and one for ball"
"Building a dream one game at a time"
"No Retreat, No Surrender"
"One Goal, One heartbeat"
"We Are Family"

**My favorite is from a great program that wins every season:
"Tradition Never Graduates"

Will have to pass on this one.

We were in Omaha in 2007 when Oregon State was there. Our 10-year old son got a bright orange shirt that read "Beaver Fever."

He had no idea what it meant...at least I don't think he did!
