Now it is on to the World Series in Fargo!!!
I thought we might run into you in West Virginia, since you did not attend the States at College Park. Sorry to miss you.
I guess you are not heading to Fargo. I am surely not, yet have been there. Interesting baseball town.
I was supposed to be in College Park for the final game, but a meeting at work kept me away. I spoke to George right after the game.
As for Morgantown, me and my son were going to head up but then football got in the way.
I spoke to George this morning. He is very excited. You wouldn't believe their travel schedule to get to Fargo. Leave tonight (2:00 A.M.) on bus for Philly. Catch flight to Crapsburgh. Then another flight to Des Moines (I think). Then catch a bus to Fargo. Whoa!
I chatted at length with George after the walk-off grandslam at Shipley!. He said he knew his player could do it. I offered him a signed AA Southern League All-Star MiLB baseball card, and he really appreciated it (and has been following him along with TJ)
What happened to your response to the MVP guy (who was complaining about something!)
