Excellent D2 school for baseball....year in and year out
Average 3 part SAT's about 1400...kinda low
Thank You, seems to be more of a liberal art college, but the baseball seems to be top notch.

Don't know personnaly, but they are obviously doing something right
They battled Peach Belt conference's Francis Marion in the SE Regional and went to D2 world series. Good ball in the south if your kid can handle being a long way from home.
Mount Olive College has had a strong baseball program as long as I can remember.
As a player considers the element of "fit," make certain that a rural environment is consistent with the sort of atmosphere he seeks. For many, it'd be great; but, for many others, not so much so.

My son met with the Head Coach at Mt. Olive as well as their Hitting Coach, actually he played with the HC's son in Fayetteville.
He had nothing but good things to say about the coaches there. I believe I spoke with the Hitting coach as well and he appeared to be very knowledgeable and easy to talk to.
My guy visited the very small campus, and wanted to transfer there, but we encouraged him to stay closer to home in Florida.
If you are interested in Baseball, I do not know of many significantly better situations around, especially at the D-2 level.

Good point about the rural environment. Big adjustment for a desert dweller.
Yeah..out here on the east coast we go "cow tipping"......we don't have any tumbleweeds to chase after! lol
