MTSU Sweeps IP-Fort Wayne

Michael not only caught but also called all the pitches. Coach Pete gave him the game ball.

Congratulations to Michael! Hope to see him continue to get more playing time as the season progresses.

It seems the pitchers don't want to throw to him any more in college than they did last year!

Michael took 13 straight balls before he just started swinging at what ever they tossed up there.

How did McNamee (2b) MTSU look? I know that he was a Columbia State transfer.

E-Mac was 7-10 with 4 singles, 2 doubles and a triple. He scored 7 runs and I think 3 RBI’s. He is going to be good!

Jaggers may be in for a cat fight getting his job back.

Most of the players hadn’t thought about the no hitter till about the six or seventh inning and then no one would bring it up or talk about it. One player said, Hey do you know the pitchers are………….. and the players put a hand over his mouth.

My x-catcher said Michael called a fantastic game. He has caught most of his life but never a no-hitter. My son said the No-hitter belongs half to the catcher and he well deserved it!!!!!! The older players have tons of confidence in this kid.

I did not know it was a no hitter until the ninth inning. If not for some great play by Marcus and Mac it might not have been. Thank your son for the kind remarks. Michael really loves being a Blue Raider and the upper classmen have really been supportive.
