I always looked at a batting "T" much like a track and field shot put -- not much to improve on. However, I may be wrong since I GOOGLED "shot puts" and found 47 different models from iron, stainless steel, brass, indoor and outdoor. So, tell us about your fancy batting "T". Before you do I will tell you I went down to the local sporting goods store about 10 years ago and bought two of their best batting tees (3 piece rubber). One has been lost over the years but one is still in great shape after 10 years having been “hammered” both rotationally and linearly.

Since we're evaluating "T"s the worst "T" I saw in baseball was the "U" Tee. You hit it about 5 times in one hour and it tends to lose it's composure and folds up.
