Going June 2019, care to share your experiences?
It can be good. The top tier teams will play against other top teams. There will be plenty of schools watching those teams play, especially if they have uncommitted players. And then there will be everyone else. Nashville is a fun place to visit. Best chicken fingers in the world at Mcdougals, 😂
Well run tournament. Quite a few coaches attend. It can be spread out, we had two games that were 45 minutes to an hour away.
We went this summer. Found the competition to be good - very similar to WWBA. There were scouts at every game, probably close to 20 when we played at Vanderbilt. It was my first trip to TN and really enjoyed it.
Excellent tournament: well run, good competition, plenty of coaches around (anywhere from Juco's, state schools, Duke, Columbia).
Peg Leg Porker BBQ, just south of the strip...best BBQ I've ever had
Great tourney....went when my son was 17U. First trip to Nashville....I took 5 boys and stayed in a condo. Between hauling boys around and games, didn't even make it to Broadway.....though did hit up the Pour House....great food and cool atmosphere during the afternoon we were there. Son's college team is in Nashville 2 weekends in February.....no kids this time so it should be a much different "experience" I'll have to thank the coach for scheduling these two weekends. Will make for a great start to son's senior year
