The A.L. selection was a joke. Cano getting no first place votes says it all. Sabathia getting 3rd in the Cy Young. Just more anti-Yankee bias. The only way a Yankee has any shot at winning it is if they blow away the field with statistics.

Not sure what the discussion is here. You can surely be disappointed your guy didn't get more consideration (even from the home town writer) but you can't deny Hamilton was a worthy winner...not a "joke."

we will agree to disagree here. Cano not getting any first place votes is a joke. There's not a secondbaseman in the league that can do the things Cano can do and without his offenseive production, Yanks might've not made the playoffs this year.

Cano had a breakout year and showed everyone just how talented he is. However, he didn't get any first place votes because everybody saw and nobody could deny the year Hamilton had carrying the Texas to the playoffs!

Clearly the one two vote went as it should have...
