AgentDad,
Already doing it. My post was sarcastic at best.
CDTLB,
I was kidding. I teach my son how to pitch.
yawallac,
I know there are quite a few 10yo that can hit 60+ but I still have to ask...is that on the slow or the fast daddy gun?

Ah, actually that was on my calculator. Another parents first cousin's best friend has a son in HS and he learned how to compute the speed by adjusting the solar battery and counting backwards from the pitcher's release point to the catcher's mit. He said that all the real smart HS dads on the hsbaseballweb site learned the techinque from TRhit!!
Come on, just kidding!!

Bob,
Brilliant program you laid out for Redbird's son. Now that BALCO is being investigated I'm thinking it is too late for my 12yo to reap the full benefit of such a program. It may be time to focus on academics instead. Where was this forum two years ago when my son needed it?

Funny story about DADDDY GUNS
Was at a tournament two years ago sitting with a Division I coach talking about a certain pitcher who came into the event heralded as hitting 95 and throwing in the 88 to 92 range consisitently only the week before
We saw the kid pitch twice never hitting higher than 85 in either appearance-- Coach got up after the second appearance, shook my hand , folded his note book. said good bye and then laughed as he said "It must have been a DADDY GUN that had those 90 readings"
