I spent a strange Christmas but it sure ended up as a fantastic one. My 22 yr old daughter got her tonsils out on Dec. 21. She had a massive reaction to pain meds, morphine and then percocet... She stopped breathing three times during the deal and spent Tuesday thru Saturday in i.c.u. But was moved out of I.c.u. On the 25th and got to come home on the 26th..... Yippppeeeee.

She can have nothing but Tylenol, not even the strong kind, so she is dealing with a lot of pain but she is dealing with it pretty well from where she was....

Happy holidays everyone.

trojanskipper - So glad that your daughter recovered well and good health for our children is truly one of the best gifts ever! My own daughter had her tonsils out her senior year of highschool and she was 18. This is not a simple procedure for an adult... however, your daughter had some complications beyond those typically caused by age. Again, continued blessings to her on her recovery!
