CD,
Will take a UNC/UVA championship match up. Big Grin

UNC lost a great deal of their incoming talent to the draft, yet Fox still managed to pull it off. And I know he won't compromise any player for a trophy. He's got the experience and the players with Omaha experience, but we also have seen how that goes. UVA has lots to prove, that attitude brings success.

What I find pretty interesting, compressed scheduling to even out things, still we see the same teams in Omaha? What was the point? Did anyone think we'd see different results?

Hey, I agree! I discounted them myself! Even though they played well against FSU, I didn't expect them to come into the CWS and whoop up on anyone. They looked very good. Of course, none of my predictions have done very well. Roll Eyes
I am kind of surprised not too many people commented on the final game and the winners.

My hats off to Paul Manieri, what a great job he has done with a powerhouse program that began to take a nose dive before he came, that's a great accomplishment.

Although the team I was rooting for to make the finals and win didn't, I am happy that the ACC conference was able to have 2 out of the 8 participating teams and has done so in the past couple of years. That says a lot about the conference so not sure about the comment that it isn't a strong conference.

I hope that you all get to Omaha one day, it doesn't have to be just to watch your player play, but to feel and experience the ultimate baseball college experience live and in person, inside and outside of teh stadium. It is very inspiring for your young players and motivational as well.
