My son was in it last year and had a great time. It was held at Olympic Heights High School and run by Coach Brian Dominico. There were scouts in attendance and Olympic Heights is typically a hitter friendly field. The preliminary rounds had a lot of homeruns but the championship round was at night and the temperatures got really cold for South Florida.
This really isn't a typical showcase although they do run an infield and outfield workout. This is more of a homerun derby.
