im so happy they got liscensing to use real bats. (easton i saw, amoung others)

Not sure when it is coming out, they may wait to release it when the PS3 comes on to the market.

the past mvp games have all been released in mid march i believe. I think that is fairly close to the ps3 release?

I've heard several places that 2K sports bought the sole liscense for the MLB
As far as I know EA is still going to carry MVP, I haven't heard wind of them discontinuing the line.

id certainly love that.
i'm under the impression, that 2K Sports bought sole rights to the MLB liscense and therefore EA is keeping MVP alive through this NCAA game.
Well I too certainly hope that EA continues with MVP MLB.
They could of just started doing the NCAA like they have in the past for Football.

MVP is done. Just like with the NFL and Madden, some other company bought out the liscencing rights from MLB. That's why EA is going with college baseball. It's more of a move by EA to use the technology that they've spent so much money on developing. They already have it, so why not make money off of it, which they will because I know I'll buy this game on its release day.
