NCAA eligibility status

My son checked his status a couple of weeks ago. It said Final non-qualifier but underneath said automatic waiver approved and explained that he was immediately allowed to receive athletic aid, practice and compete. It seems he took a college course instead of the core course, and my assumption is that is why the automatic waiver came into play. His college coach emailed him today and said he must be missing something for the eligibility center and to call them. May be just a lag in info reaching the coach but I just wanted to ask here if anyone had something similiar happen. His coach has not responded to his reply yet, and I'm in a little bit of panic mode. Thanks

I would call the NCAA Eligibility Center and ask if all is good. Get the name of the person/date/time you spoke with and then relay that info to the coach.
