I found this article extremely eye opening.

Cornell is apparently unfair in recruiting student-athletes because the college is giving them an education of much higher quality than Kentucky by comparison.

I am actually speechless because of this article. I give up on the NCAA's logic (or lack therof).

But this is true: before NCAA basketball tournaments, refs undergo a clinic. This year they were told a "point of emphasis" was logos on sock.-players could have no more than two logos showing. If more than two, the sock had to be rolled down to cover the offending logo.

The NCAA is not the athlete's friend and hasn't been for many years.
My son's team were warned last night in the 11th inning by the umps that they were not allowed to use "rally caps" according to the new NCAA regulations Starting this season. The umps said it was part of the new taunting rules by NCAA. No more inside out hats, folded hat with bill up, or shaking of hats.

sounds like they took a page out of the NFL (no fun league)
