My son is a 14 yr old catcher. AS we know catching can be hard on the knees. Was thinking of having him start taking glucosamine-chondritin which is supposed to be good for the joints and with building cartillage, thought this might help prevent wear and tear on knees, any opinions?
Thanks in advance

I have taken the glucosamine-chondrotin twice in my career. Didn't see a huge difference but I think with that kind of stuff it is in the long run that counts. I took it twice so I must have liked it. The first time I took some brand name one and the next time I just took the generic glucosime-condrotin. I think they both worked the same. No need to spend the extra money on the nice bottle! Tell your son good luck with the catching!
