I need some advice from some of the posters that obviously know the NCAA rules much better than myself.

My boy is a HS Freshman. I do some sports med work with one of the area universities baseball programs, and have developed a good relationship with the coaches and several of the pitchers. The players said they would gladly pitch to my boy and work with him over the next couple of years. The question I have is this, does that violate any rules, especially if it is during the team practice time, etc? I don't want to get the program (an NAIA school) in hot water, and I definitely don't want to jeopordize T.O's future

My first thought would be to check with the coach...he should know or know how to find the answer. Secondly since it is not a NCAA school I would think that the NCAA does not have any jurisdication on this. Lastly your Son can not get in trouble for this. Recruiting violations are penalities for schools not recruits.
