In FL all FHSAA sanctioned events require an administrator to attend. Find out who it is and speak with them. They will handle it for you
Best advice I’ve ever read in this community.
Be friendly but/and sit far away from the crowd ignore (IGNORE) the noise! One day our babies will hang up the cleats so enjoy the time left!
I try to ignore the drama but lord my resting bitch facial expressions tells a different story! It’s hard! I have a few years before HS so hopefully I can control my face 😂!

This year we have 8 Juniors move to Varsity for the first time. After the FIRST scrimmage I hear we don’t like the music, we don’t like the snack bar food, we don’t like the announcers why is my kid playing there, my kids a pitcher you know, my kid has always hit leadoff. Plus every dad and mom is keeping a GameChanger account for the games. This is going to be a FUN season....I expect fireworks just as district play starts.
Earbuds.
Coach - went to outfield for two other reasons. Went to Shea Stadiumas a kid and young man dozens of times over 15 year as a guest of a friend of my parents that had season tickets. His seats were 10 rows up off of 3rd about 25 feet past 3rd base. Actually liked the view from there a lot. The second reason was being a smoker I quickly found that I could watch games with no fence in front of me - they tended to be 5' high so I could lean on it. I could have a couple of smokes during the game without upsetting anyone.
So when my kids started baseball I sat in a lawn chair with everyone else behind the backstop. During games would then walk down the line to have a smoke. Did not take long to realize I liked being by myself leaning on the fence enjoying he ballgame. Did not have to carry a bunch of stuff and listen to nonsense ranging from stuff on the field, bitches about working and all the other everyday whining that everyone does. Got more than enough of that at work and home as it was.
So I became Outfield guy - as detailed in a golden thread on this site. It worked for me.
Ignore them.
