Hello:

Contemplating a purchase of a hitting net for the garage (standard 2-car size) - Would like opinions regarding which net and tee to purchase - currently considering the following:

ATEC Catch Net
ATEC 7x7 Sock Net
Louisville Slugger Sock Net
Jugs Quick-Snap Sock Net

ATEC Tuffy Tee (yellow)
Tanner Tee

Looking forward to your opinions as to which net and tee I should purchase...feel free to add others that I may have missed...

Usually everything by ATEC is solid. If I had to pick for my son, I'd go with the ATEC or Louisville sock-net. They are a little more versatile and tough in my opinion. The "sock" part is a good target to throw into as well. The ATEC catch net is solid as well though. The link that follows is one I would NOT recommend ...

They don't hold up well at all.

There are some other gimmicky tees out there but the ATEC Tuffy wears like iron. I like the portability of the Tanner tees but you have to weigh them down - I use a 10 lb. barbell weight on the base and put the vertical tee part through the hole of the weight and into the base. The vertical piece still flips out quite often when my guys don't hit the ball squarely though. Could be more about my guys though. Anyway...

Good luck. Hope this helped!

I'm not a fan of the Atec tees at all. They fall over way too often...you can hit a line drive with back spin and the tee will fall over...very annoying!

We have used Tanner Tees in the past, and they have been great, but all we use now is GTee (www.thegtee.com). They are EXCELLENT and they have a 2 year full warranty...great, for a college program that hits off the tees a lot! They are about twice as much as the Tanner tees, but we generally have to replace our tanner tees every year, so the cost should even out.
