Player is an 06 HS Grad from Georgia.
Starting 2B on one of the top AAAAA teams in the State. In 04 started attending Showcases (PG has evaluations on him) and camps while continually playing competitive tournament ball etc.
Evaluations have always been above average. Letters were sent out to colleges and like most others the return and unsolicited mail began to pile up. Phone calls were made and received. Everything seemed on track for play at the next level pending a solid senior season.
He had a great senior year, .439 BA (36-82), 25 RBI's, 33RS, 10 2B's and a .500 OBP.
This past week made the ALL AREA team. Just to give you an idea of the level of play here, Brent Brewer was also named to this team.
Here is why any ideas or suggestions would help:
The only offer he has gotten to play as of today is an invitation to walk on and play in the fall for a DII here in Ga. with no guarantee of a roster spot.
There is no question of ability or talent here and definitely no academic (3.1 GPA) or character issues.
Time grows short and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
