For my entire life i have had pin point control. This winter i worked very hard and the beginning of the season i was lights out. My past two starts i have recently become wild. This is new to me becuase i have never been wild. I saw a video of myself when i was wild and my left shoulder and arm (i am a righty) are opening up way to early. this causes my ball to sail up and in and its extremley frustrating. Worst part is that I am losing confidence that i worked so hard to get. I know i will snap out of it but anyone have any advice or drills to help me get out of this ASAP.

I agree with EH. A good pitching instructor should get you back on track fast.

Ask around amongst your teammates and your circle of baseball friends for help in finding a good guy. They're out there.

And I think that it is very good that you recognize the value of your confidence...in my mind confidence is a pitcher's most valuable asset. You are wise to recognize that your confidence, at the least, is stalled. You are looking to move forward and that's good.

Much success to you ...BD Karma Thread Starter!
