Rick-
I second TR's questions. As a matter of fact, I sent an email to baseballwebTV yesterday about this specific issue. At this time, my question has not been answered.

In addition, it appears that all of the workouts from the NAtional Underclass showcase are posted, but none of the games have been posted (at least as of yesterday). When will the games be posted?
TR,

no, you don't have to renew registration...same username and password will get you all access to the site.

The rest of the games from jupiter will go up tomorrow. You can go to the hotjump bar on the main page and click tournaments...the blacked out ones aren't up yet...I'm about to put up 20 more games from jupiter. By the end of the weekend, jupiter and underclass games should all be up. *note: Some jupiter games will not go up...about 90% will go up.

I apologize for the delay. Alot of this stuff has been done for a while, but we had to wait for the technical people to get the delivery stuff right before posting them up. We also had to take two steps back to move forward...hence the last month or so has been quiet. But we have made great strides...we basically rebuilt the entire system and have cut the time it takes to get a game ready by about 90%.

Showcases should now go fully up within two weeks...and some games will go up same day. The website is much easier to keep updated, and our draft coverage should be pretty amazing.

And now you can jump to any at bat or player in the video.

Look for a ton of new games up tomorrow.

Rick

PS...A player search is being built now thats going to be pretty cool. Look for that in about three weeks time.
Rick, I have sent several emails requesting my id information as I don't have it. I am being charged the monthly fee and can not use it. Can you help me get answers to my emails. I have sent several. As I remember you can only get your password provided but you have to know your sign on name. I don't remember either, so I am out of luck. When I wnet to the contact us emaii, I got no response. If you can't help, will you plese tell me how to cancel the subscription.
Thanks Woodman, I appreciate your Thought's.

This site is a real good source for anybody that's going thru the
baseball thing with there child.
I know you just have to sit back and let it happen.
Be as pro-active as possible.
And get your Player on Baseball Web-TV.
Which he is.
Being this his Senior Year, Web-TV could not have started at a better time.
Being that it's new, it will take awhile for the word to get out.
But it should take off. the EH
Rick,
when do you anticipate having ALL of the National Underclass games (including Top Prospect Games) being posted?

Also, was able to log in fine at home (must have some kind of firewall issues at work). Improvements are awesome.

I know I am probably asking too much, but is there any way a "slow motion" button could be added? Or a Pause button that has finer control? I ask this mainly while I have been watching BP sessions. That feature would allow some additional analysis of swing mechanics (at least for amateurs like me!!!).

Overall the improvements are great....like how you can skip to a particular player.....how data is shown for each player on the video....very cool!!!!!

Hey JB,

Here's where we're at with the National Underclass...all the games are finished...now I just have to create webpages for them, upload them to the site, and "turn them on"...about 1/3 of the games are up now. I'm building the web pages now for the rest of them right now. Five to ten more should go up today...we have the predraft tomorrow, so I think 75% of the games will be up by tuesday and all should be up by wednesday.

The slow motion is a great idea. It's streaming video, which allows us to do all types of cool stuff, but it doesn't have an easy way to do slow motion...but we're trying to find a workaround. We've tested a button that would constantly hit pause and play with a low buffertime to simulate slow motion, but it's a little bit too jerky...but I imagine we'll figure out some way to do it moving forward.

There are also alot of really cool features that are getting ready to come out in about three to four weeks...we learned a little trick that is going to allow us to double or triple the amount of content we can create with the same resources...we're calling it project BALCO - because it makes us bigger, stronger, faster and reduces the amount of work needed to create each story/video Wink

Also, pretty soon we're going to start doing a player of the week for each grad year...if anyone has any suggestions for players, you can post it, PM me, or email me at feedback@baseballwebtv.com ...

Rick-
This is all great stuff! I am impressed with all that you are doing to promote amateur baseball!

TECHNICAL question......can I download streaming video to my hard drive? IF so, I have JC Video software, as well as Quick Time. Then I could "play with" a BP session, slo-mo, stills, etc......I have a feeling the answer is no, but figured I'd ask.

One "off topic" question....A while back Jerry Ford wrote a great posting on how to run the 60 yd. dash. I had suggested this would be a great item to video/illustrate and put on BBWebTV (MY acronym for your website!). You had mentioned you were going to try and do it. Any status on that? I figure you are going to get pretty busy with showcases coming up.......

In any case, keep up the GREAT work!!!!! applaude
