does anybody know anything about lindsay meggs, the new coach at the university of washington?

Meggs has a great resume including huge success at CSU Chico,(DII national championships)and has already made some great choices in assistants at Washington. Perhaps the highest accolades come from the two new assistants (Greg Moore and Dave Nakama) who both have high respect in the baseball world and would not have taken the positions if they didn't feel strongly about the program and coach Meggs.

While I don't know Coach Meggs, I have had the pleasure of meeting both Coach Moore and Coach Nakama and was most impressed by both men. Washington will greatly profit by the two of them being a part of the program.
My older son played under Coach Nakama at Stanford. Hard to find a better man.
Coach Moore and Coach Nakama are two of the truly 'class acts' in college baseball. Both are very respectable coaches, fine people. Coach Meggs has made some shrewd hires in getting those two, and Husky baseball should have a bright future.
