Heard two of the McKinney schools are moving up to 5A. They may be paired logistically with Allen, and the three Plano schools.
Denton Ryan moving to 5A also and Guyer moving back to 4A. They along with the LISD schools may move back together with Coppell and SLC again.
Eager to see!

Out in left- What two McKinney schools have you heard? McKinney Boyd I think is definite. Conflicting reports on other one between McKinny High and McKinney North.
McKinney High turned in a high number...they would be the other one.
Realignment comes out Thursday, Feb. 2. I will be there with our AD...should be interesting!

Lovejoy HS will move from 3A to 4A... maybe take one of the spots in 10-4a vacated by the Rockwall schools?
Melissa HS will move from 2A to 3A... maybe take Lovejoy's spot in that district?
Otherwise, they may get put in some E. Texas districts which will make travel fun. :P

While those of us in Royse City love visiting far North Texas and even further East Texas, it would be nice to shorten down the travel just a tad.

Just what I've heard it is for certain for Ryan moving up. If Guyer stays it would make for some close rivalries if 6-5A was this:
