You crazy Chargers! You did what you could to try and keep our fans out of the stadium, but you couldn't prevent The Team of the Century from showing up! And hey, LT, waaaaaaaah! The Patriots have no class? Belichick has no class? Were you even listening to your own teammates during the week? Don't talk about disrepecting. Have fun watching the Patriots play against Drew Brees (who?) in the Super Bowl!

Respectfully disagree. The best team in football were just beaten by the N.E. Patriots.

Agree 100%...However, during playoffs coaching becomes even more critical and they just don't come much better than Belechick. Not only were the Chargers a better team this year with more talent, they also outplayed the Pats yet still managed to lose the game.

How does LT get the ball only 8 times in the 2nd half. How does Shotts challenge that INT/FUM call which was clear as day and lose a TO. How do the
Chargers manage to come back from a stoppage in play and have the wrong personel on the field requiring them to waste another TO.

Switch the coaches and the Chargers win that game
going away. JMHO
What is it that determines the best team, anyway? Is it the most talented running back? Quarterback? Head Coach? OR, whoever is left standing when it's all over?

If the best team is determined solely by who is left standing when it's all over, I wouldn't put my money on anybody playing the Patriots. Whether you like them or dislike them, you have to admire the Patriots ability to win when it matters. They may not do a lot of things that other teams do, like rush for tons of yards, or throw for over 300 yards consistently, but they do the only thing that matters in the end, they win when it matters most.

Now that I've said it, I still refuse to concede that the Cardinals were the best team in baseball last year!

This has nothing to do with the coaching, but let us not forget the Chargers DB intercepting a fourth down Brady pass, trying to advance it ("I was thinking touchdown" he said) and being stripped by Troy Brown giving the Pats a first down on the play! Sometimes I think the Patriots are experiencing the Curse of the Bambino in reverse!
