Just starting to look around a little, the issue of transferring will be coming up before we know it in less than a year from now. I've been all over their website, I think I know some pertinent facts like tuition and stuff. Just wanted to know if you know anyone who went there recently and/or anyone's take on NM Highland Univ. I know their baseball team is NCAA D2 Baseball aside, seems like a pretty affordable college. He says he doesn't want to play ball past his 2 years in Juco.-- We will see...

Anyway, thanks in advance, YourbasicMom

Don't know anything about the school or baseball program, but we have been to the town. Nothing like Las Vegas, NV, that's for sure. Very small, quiet, isolated place. I've been looking at New Mexico Highlands too, thinking about the future. Another school in that general region that looks good is Colorado State-Pueblo. Have you checked them out?

Yavapai looks like they are having a good season. Hope Luis is enjoying himself!
They're D-2. CSU-Pueblo I told what I know in an earlier post. They're #3 in the country right now, watched them play this past weekend, they're very talented. Other schools around here that play in their D2 league, Ft Hays(KS) State is ranked, Mesa State in Grand Junction is ranked. Regis University in Denver is also doing very well this year. Metro State and Colorado School of Mines in Denver are decent clubs this year I think.

Thanks harbormom and Okie -- I'm trying to correlate majors and costs and maybe baseball and stay within the WUE recieving states and the shcools that are in the Exchange program. Some schools are pretty restrictive and selective. CSU-Pueblo doesn't seem to offer his major, and right now it looks like csu-p is around 650 more a semester for tuition. Maybe because it is small and somewhat isolated, NMH is pretty friendly with thier transfer policies.

Hi Chris, Yavapai seems to be doing pretty well. Right now they are 23-11, 1st in their division in the conference. Luis seems to be liking it a lot.
