A lot of that record is due to longevity. It would be interesting to see what coach was ejected the most in relationship to the number of games he coached.

You can support/back your team in a number of ways, knowing where that line is you can't cross is more impressive to me. A great coach knows that line and as a result gets his point across yet stays in the dugout to lead his team. Sometimes the "show them up" mentality works in the wrong direction.

I think it is a dubious distinction. Cox is alledgedly the best game tactition in the game and has denied his team of his service 133 times. Further, this is a man who has had some anger management problems in his past, including a domestic violence arrest. It is admirable to support your team but sometimes it is better to be around at the end of the game.

There's a good chance he's not even in the locker room....once you've been tossed that many times, you probably figure out just how far up the tunnel you have to go to be out of sight. Although, if you ever watch Braves games on TV, it'd probably be hard for him to stay quiet and not constantly root for his guys, so maybe he has to go to the clubhouse.
