MOUNDMASTER.....
You stay out of this!
"You observe a lot by watching."
Moundmaster,
I apologize. Missed your post all together.
We plan to have everything up to date, regarding the ID Camps, by the end of next week.
David Rawnsley is working on the World Showcase reports right now. I'm not exactly sure when he will be done, but they are a high priority item because nearly all the players are 04s. We will then start the Underclass reports.
Hope that answers your question.

Nyack is done and now it's just a matter of having our web guy post it. Might still be today. If not, it will be very soon.
Nyack is up on the site
nevermind.....thanks
Well I'm late to the party as usual, but really felt I had to add my 2 cents, as part of the parents of the overlooked contingent!
Pug, in essence you say PG can help those who don't need help, because they're gonna get noticed anyways, yes my words and a paraphrase, I am definitely not qouting you verbatim, but my son did need help. Too try and keep this short, my son was a 2003 grad who in my opinion was one of the top 3 outfielders in the state of Texas, but that's my opinion, the consensus seemed to put him in the top 6. Yet he was undrafted and unsigned as a senior. AFTER he graduated in June 2003 we came to this web site, and solicited info, help, etc. A recurring suggestion was attend a showcase it's not too late. Well being a divorced parent from Calif. I support 2 families and while I agreed with the advice, these showcases were not cheap (I did not say unfairly priced), plus room and meals not to mention travel. However my son being a gifted ballplayer (I guess he would be part of the cream that needed help) I felt that he obviously needed and deserved what history has shown showcases especially PG could provide. So I bit the bullet and packed him off to 3 showcases, 1 in Florida, and 2 in Texas. Picked by soliciting comments, suggestions and also by calendar (what was available given the dates.) He went by himself to Florida, I could neither afford the cost nor time off from work. By the way I don't know why you mentioned the mom in the parking lot, I couldn't even be there, but if I was I would have given her the 10 bucks. He has sinced signed an NLI with a top 15 D1 school, and I guess you could say is on the draft radar. And I attribute the large number of top 20 D1 schools that contacted him, offering visits and full scholarships, along with professional scouts visiting directly to him having attended the PG showcase in Waco.
My son's honest assesment of the 3 showcases was as follows: (sorry he is a teenager still)
Florida (shall remain nameless showcase) -- Sucked, everything about it sucked (I apologize again, but his true thoughts)
PG South Top Prospect, Waco --
Good competition, run very well, it's the best
Texas (unamed showcase) --
Good players, it was OK
I have since seen a number of showcases, with no one I know attending and can honestly say Perfect Game showcases are the best run, organized, events with top flight competition and staff. Their results do speak for themselves and they do produce the exposure a player needs to reach the next level. My son's assesment though not eloquent cuts to the quick in his unbiased opinion and without a hidden adjenda he perceived PG to be at the top of the showcase mountain. I'll leave it up to you to figure out if your son needs a showcase, but then he's probably part of the cream that doesn't need help.
Yup, it's sailed, tides gone out, piers empty!
If you do actually have a complaint GO contact the Fords per suggestions, If you have an agenda GO make the showcase you support better, or start your own, and if you just like negativity just GO AWAY!

What about the kid that is 5 11 155 lbs that is a second baseman who plays 6 innings at your showcase. How do you rate him. And how many of the 200 coaches you claim, which only happens at Jupiter - where 1200 boys play - see that boy. The cream is easy to help sir.
... And by the way, did any of you notice the Mom in the parking lot at Juipter that had tears in her eyes as her son walked through the entrance. Guess what guys - she did not have $10 to watch her son play. Now let be see - must pay to play - airfare - hotel- food - misc - and you charge money to the parents to see the boy play. ...
... Am I missing the boat?

My $.02 worth.
Perfect Game is, in my personal opinion, an outstanding orgainzation that is well run by highly capable and caring individuals. Their evaluations and opinions are widely respected and valued by baseball teams, coaches, scouts, recruiters, players and parents. Are they perfect? No, but real close.
