this is another video of my son pitching with some adjustments that some of you had said would help. hes not throwing at 100% because he is sopposed to throw tomorrow, hes just throwing to stay sharp. so if I can get some feedback that would be great.

p.s it might take longer to load the video cause its about 53 seconds. its there just be patient.

thanks shermanreed

It wouldn't let me download the video so I could look at it frame by frame, but from what I can see is that he needs to work on his tempo. Takes too long to make the throw.

The last throw where I could hear someone (maybe you) say "drive down", looked like he threw with a little better tempo, plus a little more intent.

I thought that was his best throw.

It also looks like he could use his front side (lead arm) a little better.
Agree with Rob.
Too slow of a tempo.

Also look at how he leaves the backside behind and he doesn't have much discipline with the front arm. Those issues are "cousins" related to the way he rotates..or doesn't rotate.

Lots of potential.

Couple of other things. It's good for you to post videos...it shows a great willingness to get better. Secondly, cut those clips down to just the throw. 2-3 seconds shows it all and it will ultimately get much more viewing.

Good luck!!

I'm a 'tall and fall' guy, so my input would be that it just looks like there's too much intention in the movement of the lead leg; does that make sense? It looks forced. Better results may be found by simply collapsing the trailing hip ever so slightly, then letting gravity take over in that controlled fall. It might add some velo and stave off tiredness issues, if any, as the game wears on.
Just my humbles......nice-looking kid with an earnest approach to the game. Gotta like him, and success is in the cards with his work ethic, and seeking input.
