Ok, this is starting to finally feel "real". Son had orientation yesterday...and got to sit in a meeting with all the "athletes" regarding scholarships, etc. Also, last weekend, ran into an assistant coach who gave us some glimpse into next spring's schedule. Flight to Seattle for a 4-game weekend (the team rarely flies)...and a week long trip to NC & Lakepoint instead of the usual NC / Florida trip. Works out good. I have a cousin in Portland who I haven't seen for 5 years and an aunt and uncle in Atlanta. Looks like I'll get to take in both trips if things work out with my work schedule. My son is excited...and I'm really looking forward to it.....seems like forever ago that we started talking about this moment. Excited to see it finally coming together for him.

I know WSU played several MAC teams. One of the very nice things about having 13- 14 (if I count correctly), D1 teams within 4 hours of Dayton. Can get good mid week games.
