I remember last year that the "official announcement" came out either right before or after Playoffs Round #3. Some of the papers listed the kids in their area and others, including the Union Leader, never listed anything. Plus the NHHSBCA did not post until 6 or 9 months later.

The Players, however, seemed to know well in advance and we all had to piece it together. I'm quite sure some Coaches tell the players before the announcement and tell them to keep it on the QT.
Nashua North Class L 1st Team Kevin McGowan, Alex Morency, Joe Breen. 3rd Team Kyle Turner, Anthony Guidice. Players on North have all ben notified so it's no secret anymore. It would be great if a player representing any class L team post the players that have been notified by the coaches. It should be pretty easy to narrow down the 15-18 players chosen for 1st team at least.

These are the three teams. I have no clue as to why they are delayed, it isn't like the UL actually covers much high school baseball and they didn't do it last year.
Have fun with it.
Im also shocked everyone was saying Riley Palmer was Gatorade player of the year at Seasons end. Also where is Tony Phillips-BG, Matt Blakeman-BG, Mitch Brun-Alvirne, DJ Reed-Londonderry, Jake Glauser-Goffstown, Colby Couture-Goffstown, Andrew Dunn-Nashua South. Hard to believe these guys didn't make top 45 players in class L. And Oh I forgot is Riley Palmer accidently not shown in any of the 3 groups because that has got to be a mistake, kid is a stud player at the bat, and plays a great SS. I do know everyone will have opinions of players they feel should make it but you would think if not 1st team or 2nd but not even the 3rd team.

Eatman. You really need to relax. Palmer is Class L player of the year. We don't put them on a team, it has always been done that way. Really, relax.
TRhit- if it isn't such a big deal why then all the fuss over these teams? Last I heard the college coaches care about the opinions of the coaches who have them for four years, I think that is somewhat important.

Does throwing him out of my dugout during the Maine vs. New Hampshire game last year count as helping him along the way?

(He didn't play because of hockey) I was coaching up a storm and I turned around and he was just hanging out on the bench at SNHU.

Congrautlations indeed, he does deserve it. Wish he hadn't played hockey! Even though we swept Maine in that double header.

Congrats to all the guys who made these teams, really a great accomplishment. And Palmer well deserving of the distintion. Also I heard that Mike Montville was selected as back to back Gatorade Player of the Year, very deserving. The Sam Adams Bar at Fisher Cat Stadium must be nervous with the possibility that Mike will be in the park next Saturday. They will have to put up a net to stop his bombs from wrecking the place. Again congrats to all the guys.
Matty the All State selection is special there no doubt about that, but what always meant a lot to me as a player was earning the respect of my peers both on my team and on other teams. There is no award for that but when you get it, you know it. I bet over your high school career you have achieved that, take pride in that accomplishment. Best of luck this summer in legion ball.
SouthernNH they are good players and had good years but not sure if they would fall into the All State selection 1,2,3. Tony Phillips BG didn't get placed on the list or Andrew Dunn NS and both have more consistency and experience at the same positions but I agree they were both a big contribution to Norths success this year.

I wish they would announce the other Class's.

27 Showcase League Alums made the Class L list. 6 of the kids listed here in this forum from the Bedford, Portsmouth, and St. Thomas played with us too. Its fun to see kids you know personally having success during their seasons.

Mike, Somersworth has two showcase league alums, and they both made All-state teams in Class M. Dave Parma first team and DJ Colbert 3rd team.

That's great to hear both are really good kids on top of being really talented players. Where is Parma going to school next year?

Good luck tomorrow night.

Here are all the Somersworth selections.

Second team: Brody Horning, Josh Jaques, Josh Young

Third team: Justin Beckey, DJ Colbert.
Congratulations to everyone. I have heard a lot of those names right here on the message board reading the contributions of everyone. Its pretty cool actually so thank you to everyone who has been posting all season!

A special congratulations to the 40 Fall Showcase League players who made the all-state list. Best of luck to the seniors on their next stop. Hope to see the rest of you back at tryouts in August.
