The Woodstock Rivers Bandits made the playoffs in their first year in the Valley League. Two of the main hitters has been Kelly Edmonson from Tennessee who has hit 13 doubles and Josh Archer from MTSU who has hit 6 home runs and leads the team with 29 RBI's.

They lost in the 1st round of the playoffs and are headed back to Tennessee. Summer ball is now over and college will start back in three weeks.

Also: The Paris Thunder finished 8th out of 30 teams from all across the Country in the USSSA World Series in Nashville last week. It was a great way to finish up 7 years. Dane Archer had one win, one loss, and one save in six games but our team ran out of steam in the championship brackets losing 15-13, 7-4 after going 3-0 in pool play and winning the first round in the championship bracket. Summer ball is now over and Vol State is the next step in three weeks.

It was nice to have several college scouts in attendance to watch the players at this event.
