A follow-up to the "price of gas" threads that passed earlier this summer:
Has anyone noticed if local leagues that traditionally played heavy night schedules (often youth,and softball.... especially fall ball), have modified/changed scheduling to save on utility bills?
Starting Earlier?
Moving to afternoon play?
(hard to do with working adults)
Obviously there are heat issues and troubles getting top-level umpires in the middle of the afternoon.
