His 6 triples are tied for the lead in the league. Earlier in the year, he put together an 18 game hitting streak. He also received votes for the league’s most valuable player. McConnell was drafted in the 9th round of the 2004 draft by the Kansas City Royals organization, after attending Delsea High School." clap
